The smallest binoculars in the Steiner Wildlife XP series, these are the perfect solution to the weight and size-conscious traveler and especially those who enjoy birdwatching and wildlife observation from close to mid-range distances.

The relatively wide view and small size also make this model a fantastic binocular for taking to and then watching most outdoor sporting events or concerts.

As well as being small in the hands, the ingenious double hinge design makes it possible for them to fold up into a very compact shape and thus in combination with the small 24 mm lenses make this model a true pocket size instrument. This is important for those who also like to carry other equipment like a camera for example as these can easily be stowed completely out the way until you need to use them.

This design also means that you can adjust them to match the distance between your eyes no matter if they are particularly close or far set. This also makes these binoculars a good option for older children.

Whilst the small 24mm objective lenses help ensure that the binocular is as compact as possible, it is important to remember that just like the windows in your house, smaller lenses capture and let in less light than larger ones. So whilst perfectly fine during the day, these binoculars are not recommended for use in very low light situations.

With a close focusing distance of only 2 meters, these will also be a good option for those who like to study things like butterflies or flowers or even paintings at a gallery from a very close range.
